Space weather, or the variable conditions in near-Earth space environment, can disrupt technologies that people rely on every day, including GPS navigation, satellite communications, power grids, and aviation. The annual Space Weather Workshop is the nation’s leading forum for connecting space weather research with real world applications. It brings together scientists, engineers, students, government agencies, and industry representatives to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and improve our ability to understand and respond to space weather.
