Summary
This project will contribute to the national need for well-educated scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and technicians by supporting the retention and graduation of high-achieving, low-income students with demonstrated financial need at Somerset Community College. A total of 115 scholars pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Pre-Engineering will receive scholarships averaging $5,085 per year for up to three years. Scholars will receive faculty and peer mentoring, and the project will build strong scholar cohorts through a cohesive learning
