Summary

Computer-aided design (CAD) is a key component of engineering education and practice. Computer-aided design software is used to create digital 2D drawings and 3D models which are used across all phases of the design process for visualization, simulation, analysis, and production in various engineering disciplines, architecture, animation, and more.
