Summary
This REU Site award to the University of New Mexico, located in Albuquerque, NM, will support training of 10 students for 10 weeks during the summers of 2026- 2028. Students will live and work at the UNM Sevilleta Field Station located on the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge in Socorro County, New Mexico. Students will work with a faculty mentor to learn how to conduct research by identifying a research question and developing an independent project in an area of dryland ecology, building upon and contributing to the accumulated knowledge from nearly 40 years of research of the Sevilleta Lon
